The "Seven Rings" collection is inspired by mysterious medieval hieroglyphs associated with the seven celestial bodies. It was believed that engraving these symbols on a ring would positively influence the fate of the wearer.
In medieval Latin manuscripts, these symbols were called "characters," and the ornaments themselves were known as Rings of Planets, Rings of Power, or Rings of Solomon. There were seven in total, corresponding to the number of planets, whose movements were observed by ancient civilizations in attempt to uncover the secrets of nature.
